A RISING singing star will be special guest at St Luke’s Hospice’s summer fair this weekend.
Beverly Savarin, who is well known in the US, will appear on the bill alongside Sheffield saxophonist and flautist Andy Cahill - an acclaimed musician who has worked with some of the industry’s biggest names, including George Benson and Carl Perkins.
Beverly, who has four successful albums behind her, has also had a top 20 hit which remained in the charts for 14 weeks.
She will sing at the St Luke’s 40th Birthday Summer Fair which runs between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday, when a host of other attractions will be on offer for guests.
A free park and ride service between the hospice and the Tesco car park in Abbeydale Road will also be operated throughout the afternoon.
